Welcome to the Sechelt Garden Club
We welcome everyone who is interested in gardening and would like to meet with other gardeners here on the Sunshine Coast of BC.
We hold monthly meetings during the spring and fall where we have garden-related speaker presentations, take care of club business, and operate a sharing table for plants and gardening materials.
We normally hold at least two social events a year, organize field trips to view gardens, and hold plant sales. Some members work on community garden projects with the Flower Up! Sechelt committee. There are numerous volunteer opportunities for members to get involved and get connected with other keen local gardeners.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we started holding meeting over Zoom while social gathering was curtailed. As of 2023, we have resumed holding physical meetings and events whenever possible, but retained the ability to hold Zoom meetings when appropriate or necessary.
