The Sechelt Garden Club 50th Anniversary celebration held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 was a HUGE success. The Seaside Centre was filled with beautiful flower arrangements, lovely table settings, lots of incredible food, refreshing beverages, music from 2 talented young fiddlers, but most of all, filled with happy, excited people who joined in our celebration. Cathy, our President, gave a wonderful speech and Bill Terry spoke about the joys of gardening and more. The Sourwood Tree and plaque were revealed and photos were taken with Cathy, Bill and Mayor Bruce Milne. Every guest received a plant, which were grown from seed and lovingly cared for by some of our garden club members.
